As one of Alltrust’s Account Executives, Michelle joined Alltrust in 2001 with over 25 years of experience in Human Resources, primarily in the healthcare industry and government entities. Michelle is an active member of NAHU and FAHU, and has served as the State and Florida Legislative Chairperson for the past four years. Within this realm she has represented the health insurance industry and consumers in Tallahassee and Washington D.C.
A Little More About Michelle
Michelle handles the evaluation, education, and coordination of benefit compliance materials and documents such as Section 125, FMLA, COBRA, 5500 and more; review of claims data reports with clients and identification of areas for improvement; coordination with clients to develop plans and processes to improve member benefit utilization; and coordination of efforts to the marketing team and client advocacy managers for large accounts.
In her time with Alltrust Michelle says her favorite aspect is, “Our people!”
Michelle is also highly involved in the community including a member of the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU)’ Florida Association of Health Underwriters (FAHU); Tampa Bay Health Underwriters (TBHU); Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM); and Suncoast Society for Human Resources Management.
In her time away from Alltrust, Michelle loves to fish, snorkel, go scalloping, lobstering, and pretty much do anything that involves being on the water. Locally, she enjoys eating at the Freezer, spending time with her three children and two grandchildren, and visiting Key West.
